Delivery & Returns

We offer a free standard delivery service up to 40 miles from BT70 1ES for our in-house items and home furnishings. If you require a basic set-up, installation or assembly of flat packed furniture within this radius, the fee will be advised at the time of purchase.

For delivery prices outside this radius, please contact us.

Deliveries to mainland UK and Ireland, via our courier, incur a fee of £9.95 P+P, however not all larger goods will be eligible for delivery to all UK addresses.

Our aim is to deliver goods within 2-14 working days, including Saturday, from the date of the order being accepted.

If we don’t have the item you select at the time of placing the order, and it is necessary for us to order directly from the manufacturer, we will advise you of the delay. We will keep you up to date with the progress of your order if this event does occur for any reason.

Change of mind -

If you buy a product and change your mind within 7 days of purchase you can return the item for a credit note valid for 6 months to the value of the goods returned.

Installation

If you require our installation service for electrical appliances the charges will be advised at the time of purchase.

Cancellation & Returns

If you wish to cancel your order prior to despatch, you must email us first at sales@cdelectrics.com and wait for a cancellation email.

You have the right to cancel your order within seven working days from date of delivery/purchase and return the goods supplied to us for a full refund. You must notify us in writing or by email within the seven days of your intention to cancel the contract. If you cancel your order, any goods supplied must be returned to the retailer at your own expense within 7 days of your notice to cancel.

Providing the goods are returned unused, unopened, in original condition, complete with all packaging, in an "as new" condition and all accessories and leads including any free gifts you will receive a full refund, less any delivery and/or collection charges, within 30 days of giving us your notice to cancel. We are unable to accept back goods for a credit if they are unwanted gifts or non-faulty items 7 days after the purchase date. These Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Returned goods not complying with this may be rejected or subject to a minimum of 20% deduction from any refund. Please note that if you cancel an order, which has been processed and dispatched, you will be refunded the value of the goods less the return costs. The 7-day period does not start until the day after receipt of the goods by the customer. Monies will only be refunded once we have received the returned goods, this may take up to a maximum of 14 working days.

CD Electrics & Home Furnishings will not accept cancellation of any orders where the item(s) purchased are not normally held in stock but have been specifically ordered at the request of the customer.

Refunds

Full refund of the cost of the goods will be given upon the above conditions being met and the refund will be authorised only after a full inspection of the goods by our Returns department, who will check if all the correct products have been returned with the correct accessories and their condition. Any missing accessories will be deducted from the refund.

Manufacturer Warranty

If your product breaks down under the manufacturer’s warranty period, a service with the manufacturer to call out and repair the item under warranty will be arranged.

All you need to supply is the model and serial number of the product, along with proof of purchase.

For extended warranty the end user must register their product with the manufacturer and keep the warranty details, otherwise the item will be covered by the original warranty.
